Is GlucoTV free?
Yes — GlucoTV is completely free to use. If you find it helpful, you can support development with a coffee donation.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use OAuth2 for Dexcom — we never see your password. Your glucose data is only used to display on your TV and is never sold or shared. See our privacy policy for full details.
Can I use GlucoTV on multiple TVs?
Yes — each Roku pairs independently. You can connect as many TVs as you want to the same CGM account.
How current is the data?
The Roku app polls for new data every 15 seconds. CGM readings are typically 5 minutes behind real-time depending on your sensor.
What Roku devices are supported?
GlucoTV works on all Roku streaming devices and Roku TVs that support Full HD (1080p) resolution.
Will more CGM systems be supported?
Currently we support Dexcom and Nightscout. More CGM systems are planned for future updates.
